Oh, this is SUCH A COOL story! It has a very Robin McKinley vibe, and her fairy tales are basically my favorite thing ever, so I was predisposed to like this, but you handle the characters and the plot so beautifully, too! It sets up such a cool conflict and a cool world -- I'm so intrigued by the Queen and the different way that faerie-folk are treated in Par. AND UGH, ANN AND NANCY! I loved them to bits. And women warriors! SO REFRESHING! Just overall a very delightful read. <3 <3 <3
